Overview

This Refund & Subscription Policy explains how subscriptions work for PrintBase and the conditions under which refunds may be requested. All payments are processed securely by Stripe.

Subscription Plans

PrintBase offers subscription-based pricing to access our remote printing infrastructure. Plans are available on a monthly or annual basis.

  • Monthly Plans: Billed on the same date each month. You can cancel at any time and your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
  • Annual Plans: Billed once per year. Annual plans typically offer a discount compared to monthly billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current annual period.

Automatic Renewal

All subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You will receive a receipt from Stripe at the email address associated with your account each time a payment is processed.

Changing Your Plan

You may upgrade or downgrade your subscription plan at any time through your account settings. Plan changes take effect at the start of the next billing cycle unless otherwise specified.

Payment Processing

All payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-DSS compliant payment provider. PrintBase does not store your full credit card details. By subscribing, you authorize Stripe to charge your payment method on a recurring basis for the subscription fee.

Accepted payment methods include:

  • Major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, etc.)
  • Alipay and WeChat Pay (via Stripe)
  • Other payment methods supported by Stripe in your region

Free Trial

If a free trial is offered for a plan, no charge will be made during the trial period. At the end of the trial, your selected subscription will begin automatically unless you cancel before the trial ends.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings under Billing. Cancellation stops future charges but does not result in a refund for the current billing period already paid.

Upon cancellation:

  • Your access to PrintBase services continues until the end of your current billing period.
  • No further charges will be made after cancellation.
  • Your data is retained for a period after cancellation to allow for account reactivation; after that period, it may be permanently deleted.

Refund Policy

Eligibility for Refunds

We evaluate refund requests on a case-by-case basis. You may be eligible for a refund in the following circumstances:

  • Accidental or duplicate charges: If you were charged more than once for the same subscription period due to a technical error, we will issue a full refund for the duplicate charge.
  • Service unavailability: If PrintBase experiences extended downtime (more than 24 consecutive hours) that substantially prevents you from using the service during a paid period, you may request a pro-rated credit or refund for the affected period.
  • First-time subscribers: New subscribers may request a full refund within 7 days of their first charge if they are unsatisfied with the service, provided the service has not been used extensively.

Non-Refundable Situations

The following situations are generally not eligible for refunds:

  • Cancellations after the 7-day window for new subscribers
  • Forgetting to cancel before an automatic renewal
  • Partial use of a subscription period
  • Account termination due to violation of our Terms of Service

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, contact our support team at support@printbase.cloud with:

  • Your account email address
  • The date of the charge you are requesting a refund for
  • A brief explanation of the reason for the refund request

We will review your request and respond within 3–5 business days. Approved refunds are processed through Stripe and may take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement depending on your bank or card issuer.

Disputes and Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us at support@printbase.cloud before initiating a chargeback with your bank. We are committed to resolving billing issues promptly and fairly.

Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to update this policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
